Industry's First RGBD (ToF) Floor Cleaning Robot Solution

The exhibition featured the industry's first SLAM-based floor cleaning robot solution utilizing ToF (Time-of-Flight) technology. This solution employs ToF combined with RGB to generate RGBD depth point cloud information, providing technical support for mapping, localization, navigation, and obstacle avoidance.

The solution utilizes Sunny OIT's self-developed Mars04A depth camera module. Leveraging three-dimensional depth information, it constructs 3D maps and enables SLAM and obstacle avoidance functions for cleaning robots. This enhances cleaning efficiency and coverage while offering a higher cost-performance ratio compared to other visual sensing solutions.

Long-Range ToF Application Solution

The long-range ToF module showcased – the Mars F1 – finds applications in fields such as 3D measurement, scene reconstruction, security, and robot navigation/obstacle avoidance. The module boasts a maximum detection range of 30 meters, capable of controlling the error of its high-precision 200K resolution 3D point cloud information within 1%. It supports a 9-axis IMU for real-time multi-degree-of-freedom dynamic attitude output. Furthermore, it offers both USB 3.0 and Ethernet interfaces. Users can acquire high-precision 3D depth information and IMU data via a host computer and are provided with an SDK for secondary application development.

On the afternoon of the 21st, Mr. Frank Xu, Assistant to the General Manager and Senior Marketing Director of Sunny OIT, delivered a keynote speech titled "Robot 3D Vision Sensing & New Product Roadmap Release" in the Enterprise Presentation Area of the main hall.
